We are assisting our client in their search for an Office Administration Assistant to join their legal practice on the Southern Gold Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in administration who has aspirations to become an Office Manager through proving themselves and their capabilities.

The Role
To support the Partners and employees of the firm by providing efficient and competent administrative support. You will ensure the smooth day to day operation of the office; with all tasks completed accurately and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.

 Duties include:

  • Administration duties - Filing, scanning, typing, binding, mail, open new legal case files etc.
  • Admin support to book keeper & conveyancing team
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, take messages as required
  • Diary management - booking / scheduling appointments and facilitating conference calls / office meetings
  • Managing stationary and office supplies 
  • Reception - meet and greet clients / visitors 
  • Word processing support
  • Personal tasks for partners as required
  • Liaise with external companies such as IT Support, photocopy company, landlord & fleet companies, in line with business needs
  • Banking

 Applicant Requirements
The role would suit someone who has the drive and ambition to step into a role and make it their own. A team player with a proven track record in admin, excellent references, capable of using their initiative and managing their own work load.

  • A proven track record in a multi functional administration role
  • Experience within a Legal firm is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with client management software, LEAP desirable but not essential
  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Driver’s Licence

This is a full time permanent role. Monday - Friday 8.30am -5pm.
