  • 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Great opportunity exists for a diligent, detail focused and proactive individual to join the operations and warehouse team and make a difference to our customers and sales team. The company services automotive, commercial and industrial customers in the Australian battery market.

This newly created role will cover Warehousing, Delivery and Customer Service Functions. Whilst the role is based in Tullamarine, it will require the individual to occasionally work across our Victorian sites.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your duties will include, although are not limited to:

  • The role will be split between delivery driving and warehouse storeman duties.

50% delivery driver (preferably manual driver’s licence). This is a customer facing role, so a friendly professional approach is essential.

50% warehouse storeman which includes:

  • Picking orders, receiving stock, entry into system
  • Manual repetitive lifting of Batteries on average is 10 – 15kgs, with some upwards of 20kgs
  • Unloading of Containers approximately 1 – 2 containers per week (all forklift unload)

To be considered for this position you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • A current forklift license and driver's license is a must.
  • A “Can Do” attitude, be physically fit and able to handle batteries, be safety minded and driven to make a difference.
  • A basic knowledge of auto-electrics would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • The ability to multitask and work in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and previous experience with a WMS
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
