Today, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to join the AUNZ Consumer Marketing team!

This is a team tasked with driving brand & user growth through full-funnel consumer marketing. We're looking for someone who can conceive, implement and analyse tactical and localised initiatives to achieve these goals.

The right person for this role is a collaborative, organised and a strategic operator who is able to interpret consumer trends, audience and media insights and translate these into relevant and impactful marketing campaigns.

What You'll Do

  • Your mission will be to drive awareness, consideration and ultimately uptake of Spotify's various in-market products
  • Drive the AUNZ strategy and roll-out global and local marketing programs, ensuring all activity feels local, personal and delivers measurable user growth
  • Campaign management from planning to executing, optimising, monitoring, reporting and analysis of media and business reports will be key to your role
  • Develop effective growth-driving media strategy based deep insights in marketing, advertising and media planning principles across digital and traditional media
  • Produce campaign retrospectives to provide counsel on future initiatives and help demonstrate return on investment
  • Steer and support our local partnerships, ensuring our external partners are helping drive local growth for Spotify
  • Identify and explore new avenues of user growth for the AUNZ business, including new media, partnership and conversion activations
  • Gain understanding of the customer, industry, and competitor trends (macro, external, internal) and find opportunities to drive growth
Who You Are
  • A self-starter with a minimum of 6 years' experience in consumer, digital media, brand or entertainment marketing
  • Experienced in media planning and/or partnership marketing is highly regarded and subscription service brand experience would be an advantage
  • You come with a fresh approach, are analytical and a confident communicator. All this allows you to work cross-functionally and autonomously with multiple partners
  • Customer obsessed and data literate. You have the ability to challenge market, competitor and customer data and present recommendations on growth activations
  • You thoroughly understand the digital music landscape, competition, prominent web, mobile, and social platforms and their impact on the digital environment
  • You have crafted and executed successful consumer marketing campaigns focussing on customer acquisition, business partnerships, and media investment
  • You have sound knowledge of the AUNZ digital advertising industry with a strong professional network of media, marketing and brand advertising professionals
  • You have been involved in and led the buying process of media, including online and offline channels, and have a high degree of expertise in media negotiation and attribution
  • You are innovative as well as have an analytical approach. You are a confident communicator, which helps you to work cross-functionally and effectively with multiple partners in many time zones
  • You can work efficiently in an unstructured environment and do well in fast paced, dynamic environments where critical thinking and creativity are important to achieve success
  • You are collaborative, growth mindset, exhibit curiosity, proactively resolve problems and are always looking for opportunities to improve the way we work
