Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
Austin Health Pathology also provides Pathology services to the Mercy Hospital for Women, Central Highlands Rural Health, Castlemaine Health, The Kilmore & District Hospital, Seymour District Memorial Hospital, Kyabram District Health Services and further expansion to health services in the Loddon Mallee region.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experiencedCourier Driver to join our Pathology Department to fill a Fixed-Term Full-Time position within the Loddon Mallee region (based in Echuca Hospital).
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include:
- Well developed interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and excellence in service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to complete mail, external and internal courier related duties safely and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members of staff, internal and external service providers, clients and the public at all levels in a professional, confidential and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to determine priorities and organise workload effectively and efficiently.
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible attitude to work requirements.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Current drivers licence.
