JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a HR/Procurement Officer to join for an exciting 6 months assignment within the Federal Government.

Location: CBD Location and WFH

Contract Duration: 6 months

Hours- $80,305 plus super per annum

About the role:

As an integral member of the Procurement and Contracts team within Business Support, this position will provide administrative support and expert advice in a range of procurement and some HR activities to deliver effective labour hire solutions to support registry Operations and achieve business needs and expectations.

  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to determine labour hire requirements based on registry/team needs and deliver outcomes-focused procurement activities across the AAT.
  • Ensure adherence to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and applicable AAT policies, procedures and compliance requirements, including preparing and supporting business areas to prepare all relevant information and documentation required.
  • Coordinate the completion of non-APS employee forms on hiring, extension and departure of non-APS employees to ensure accurate recording and reporting regarding this workforce segment.
  • Work collaboratively with other corporate areas, particularly human resources and IT to ensure the onboarding, cross-boarding and off-boarding processes for labour hire workers are appropriately and efficiently managed.
  • Ensure labour hire contracts and relevant procurement databases are accurately maintained.
  • Provide timely advice, communication, reports and submissions for internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile will demonstrate:

  1. Demonstrated experience with and/or knowledge of procurement practices, policies, standards and guidelines within the public sector. Tertiary qualifications in a related field is desirable.
  1. HR experience and/or knowledge of labour hire arrangements desirable
  1. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to constructively support the delivery of team and organisation-wide outputs.
  1. Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate and influence a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  1. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders of all levels
