Our Government client is currently in the process of transitioning to an end-to-end integrated ERP solution (TechnologyOne OneCouncil) and is seeking a focused, experienced and organised Business Analyst to join the OneCouncil project team. 

Start: ASAP start
Length: Until June 2022
Hours: 38 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience

The Role
Provide a high level of process analysis, documentation, configuration and implementation services to facilitate the implementation and management of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution within the organisation.
Consult and facilitate open communications with key stakeholders to collaboratively analyse business requirements, consider options and contribute to the formulation and implementation of an effective solution.

Key Responsibility Areas
• Perform business analysis functions.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and vendor functional experts to develop the solution design. This includes conducting business process workshops.
• Configuration of the new ERP system in conjunction with vendor functional experts.
• Assist with data quality assurance and data definition exercises.
• Creation of System Reports.
• Testing of integrations, data migration and reports, including the creation of test plans.
• Develop effective relationships with business system owners and business champions to gain understanding of their responsibilities and operational needs.
• Flexibility to assist with other Catalyst project related tasks not specified within this position description as required and within the person’s skills and knowledge).
• Not to discuss sensitive information that could undermine the project’s success to any officer outside the Project Team unless otherwise approved by the Project Manager.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level and scope of this position, as directed.

• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems/Computer Science with relevant experience or less formal qualifications with specialised skills and extensive experience in corporate application support and business analysis in a diverse business.
• Understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
• Demonstrable experience in business process analysis and workshop facilitation in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrable experience in documentation of requirements and business processes.
• Demonstrable experience in testing of corporate software and the creation of test plans.
• Demonstrable experience in business system configuration and or process analysis within some of the following application sets:
• Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
• ERP – Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Rates, Finance, HR, Payroll, Assets, Inventory Control, Compliance.
• Demonstrable experience in the use and/or configuration of the Local Government ERP solutions from Technology One.
• Demonstrable experience or progress towards using SQL for report writing.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate
