Our client is a global leading supplier of charging equipment and innovators of smart devices for entertainment, travel, and smart homes. They create innovative products such as chargers, speakers and earphones, smart home devices and portable entertainment devices.



About the role

Due to their continuous growth here in Australia, and exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Demand Planner to join their small but growing team based in the south eastern suburbs.

In this dynamic fast paced and challenging role, you will be responsible for:


  • Collecting and analysing the historical sell-in/sell out data, output rolling 6months demand forecast, proposal order plan, and shipping plan for whole regions (by categories & SKU level)
  • Analysing and improving forecast accuracy
  • Working with GTM, Sales to collect and summarise the events forecast, business opportunity and risk analysis (promotion, new products launch, sales projects)
  • Managing overall demand allocation of constrained products supply to provide high service level delivery as well as healthy inventory of Clients.Ensure all products are shipped according to the customer requirement date.
  • Inventory management: Pipeline stock and over capital with reasonable stock level, EOL stock clearance and liability management
  • Drive Sales and Operations Planning process, coordinate with cross functional teams to achieve the quota/biz forecast: Lead Demand Management Review meeting with sales, GTM for the risks and opportunities, Lead Demand and Supply Review meeting with Planning and fulfillment team review the supply risks and opportunities.
Skills & experience

As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:


  • Previous demand planning experience ideally within the electronic or telco products space or similar products supplied through the likes of JB HiFi, The Good Guys etc.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English
  • Be a fast learner and have excellent analytical skills using Excel, familiar with Power BI, Python
  • The ability to work well within a small team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Business Administration
