This Global Diagnostics Company is headquartered in Sydney and a local primary manufacturer of a range of molecular diagnostic instrumentation and reagents for use within human, veterinary and food diagnostics. They are committed to improving their customers experience through offering innovative, high quality products that improve patient diagnosis and treatment, providing clinicians increased confidence in their diagnostic reporting.

The Role

Reporting to Senior Management, you will take on the responsibility of IT advisor on technology objectives, goals, and priorities across the business. Additionally, the role will provide hands-on technical support across all IT infrastructure and ERP systems as well as overseeing all IT project implementations.

To be successful in this role you will thrive in an autonomous role ensuring the seamless reliability of internal systems whilst taking ownership of the research and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications and Skills required include:-

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in ITinfrastructure support including network, IT security, IT troubleshooting (1st to 3rd Level)
  • 3+ years of experience contributing to IT projects
  • Support of a cloud-based infrastructure (Office 365, Google Drive etc)
  • Experience providing users support and administration of an ERP system ideally Netsuite
  • Understanding of software development (preferably Java)
  • Demonstrated problem solving
  • Ability to produce high quality results under tight time constraints
  • Solid documentation skills with the ability to document processes and create training materials for users
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations
  • Exhibited ability to communicate effectively up and down the organization
  • Experience with reviewing budgets and financials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
