Job description

⢠Long term role, potential to go permanent
⢠Great rates $50/hour plus super and penalties for overtime
⢠Role based in Derrimut VIC

About Our Client
Our client manufacture and distribute a wide range of new and used mobile hydraulic cranes and spare parts throughout Australia.

About the Role

  • Achieve daily planned maintenance targets including inspecting and reporting on completed maintenance tasks
  • Undertake electrical repairs on various vehicles and plant
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on customer cranes and lifting equipment
  • Make recommendations for equipment replacement
  • Keeping accurate daily work records and report any issues, including necessary repairs to Supervisor
  • Provide technical advice and supervise and mentor unqualified mechanical staff (as required)
  • Complete work so that it is done efficiently and in accordance with industry standards, eliminating wastage including rework

Duties & Responsibilities
⢠Fault finding and problem solving
⢠Repair, Rebuild and service machinery
⢠Add modifications and installations to new machinery
⢠Breakdowns
⢠Able to maintain records
⢠Demonstrated commitment to equipment reliability and quality outcomes

Skills and Experience

  • Applicable Mechanical and Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Proven work experience as an Auto Electrician and Mechanic
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • 2-3 years minimum relevant qualified trade experience in similar industry
  • Working Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A (white card)
  • Hold a current VIC Driver's License
