Born from an ethical mission, realised through technical innovation and seeded by high profile multi-million-dollar investments, we are hiring for a post revenue start-up. They need an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing DevOps team, to support their platform which has quickly grown from thousands to millions of users. This role is being hired for the first time.

Given trust and ownership from day one, as the SRE you will work across operation and engineering teams and customers to provide infrastructure and deployment automation and expert guidance on technical issues.

More important than just years experience or ticking the right tech tool boxes, you need to fit their culture in being driven, passionate, authentic, energetic and decent, whlst being seriously good at what you do because it's what you love doing (whether honing your craft or as an ever learning tech veteran) . Some of what you will do in the job...

  • Working across product, infrastructure and customer success teams, translating technical issues between customers, developers and product teams
  • Use your experience in software development, systems engineering and networking to proactively prevent issues and resolve urgent incidents
  • Monitor all components of the business and ensuring uptime and performance
  • Support fortnightly releases and new features in production
  • Monitor and control the release process, including executing release roll-back decisions
  • Enhance infrastructure in collaboration with the DevOps Team
  • Creation and execution of command line Scripts and Tools
  • Configuration of deployed enterprise platforms
  • Support internal development team with tools and access
  • Provide technical expertise/support during tenders
  • Provide post-sales technical product education and advice to customers on the integration of the company's products into their business

Key skills & attributes...

  • You MUST HAVE strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills; ability to communicate with both customers and technical teams, translating between both.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in AWS
  • Basic understanding of NodeJS code as well as scripting experience
  • Technical understanding of networking and communications Technology, including HTTP, HTTPS
  • Knowledge of Linux Systems
  • Customer facing Experience

The Interview process...
