The Role


We’re looking for an experienced data guru who can play a critical role in Nura’s data enablement going forward. 


This role is equally technical and business-minded. They know their LEFT JOINS from their RIGHT, but they’re also able to work with (often senior) stakeholders to understand what insights they’re looking for and can then execute on this. 


You will be exposed to a wide array of business areas (Marketing, Ecommerce, Customer Service, Retail and PR) and play a key role in commercial decisions. You will also be responsible for reporting on top-line business performance. As a result, you will have the opportunity to drive the performance of the company - we are looking for someone where this degree of empowerment sounds exciting!


Responsibilities


Assist and enable Nura’s data insights and capability, end to end. This includes:

  • Reporting on business-level KPIs to senior stakeholders
  • Creating automated dashboards through Nura’s business intelligence tool to enable various functions of the business
  • Embarking on deep-dive insights investigations across the commercial scope of the business
  • Considering the architecture of Nura’s databases and assisting in improvements
  • You would ideally have capability with Python and can assist in ETL work, but not critical


Stretch responsibilities:

  • Providing the analytics input for web tracking and setting up relevant guidelines
  • Investigating and assessing any new Marketing-related technology (e.g. Pixel tracking) and assisting implementation
  • Assisting in analysing and optimising Digital Marketing campaigns (both Facebook Ads and Google Ads)


Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified with a relevant degree
  • Have had over 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics
  • Well versed in the Microsoft and/or Google Enterprise suite, particularly Excel/Google sheets
  • Well versed in SQL
  • Well versed with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Chartio, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Able to pick up technical concepts / new software quickly
  • Displays initiative and thinks outside of their role
  • Process improvement and automation mindset
  • Comfortable presenting/communicating with senior business stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • A multi-tasker, with great time management skills (who can manage and meet deadlines)
  • Good at working in teams, demonstrating collaboration and low ego

A definite plus…

  • Experience with Python and/or other programming languages
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Familiar with Facebook Ads and/or Google Ads (ideal, but not a deal-breaker)
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with SEO
  • Familiar with Mailchimp (or equivalent)
  • Love of the music industry
