Return to Work and Workers Compensation Case Management position on a temporary 3 month basis.

Your new company
This organisation provides teaching and learning services for students across Sydney from early childhood through to high school graduation, delivering education and providing funding support to non-government schools. This organisation supports and assists teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Australian people.

Your new role
The role is responsible for delivering case management services to staff and you will be looking after portfolio of medium to high risk injuries and recovery at work in line with the relevant legislation and policy to minimise the impact to workplace absence.
You will also:

  • Provide support and advice to staff that have sustained workplace injuries or non-work related injuries in
    accordance with legislative and operational processes.
  • Develop RTW strategies, preparing, implementing and monitoring return to work plans and
    procedures to facilitate an early and safe return to work that is balanced with business operations.
  • Maintain compliance with both workers compensation and injury management legislation and
    departmental policies and procedures to improve work health and safety performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure effective
    claims and injury management.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports on the progress and status of workers compensation claims and nonwork related rehabilitation programs including in response to correspondence.


What you'll need to succeed

  • You will have SIRA RTW Coordinator training or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience or interest in Workers Compensation, Injury Management
  • Capacity to communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders and prioritise.
