Immediate opportunity to join a focused and driven team located at Amberley delivering high level Program Management & Business Support.

Description

The client

My client works very closely with the Australian Department of Defence with locations nationally and is responsible for the delivery of a large number of very crucial programs of work in this space.

This role is located in Amberley this role will be responsible for the delivery of Specialist Business Support/Project functions to ensure that the conduct of critical activities are managed by the Enterprise Program Office to meet the needs of the customer.

The role requires an ASAP start on a contract basis with an initial 6 month contract on offer.

The functions of the role are:

  • Supports operations management and compliance, Business Support services and traveller assistance for multiple delegated business activities such as Enterprise Services, Site Services, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Supplier Management.
  • Supports HR processes for international local hire employees and provides assistance to international assignee with routine issues (i.e. relocation services) or concerns.
  • Coordinates facilities operations and administration, non-real-property project administration, property administration and facilities provisioning.
  • Performs routing recurring accounting, invoicing, cost analysis, tax or other business objectives through collecting, processing and distributing cost or financial data.
  • Participates in documenting business processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while demonstrating understanding of policies and compliance standards.
  • Compiles data and posts information to various electronic information systems as needed. Monitors tracks and records data activity to provide visibility.
  • Assists in compiling data from various sources.

To apply

  • You must be an Australian Citizen
  • Have a Defence security clearance or be able to obtain one
  • Have recent and proven experience in a similar role
  • Have a minimum of 7 years experience in a related role 
  • Highly desirable is a Bachelor or Masters qualification in a relevant area
  • Be available for the full term of the contract.
