Little Peoples Place Early Learning Centre

I am looking for an ECT to join me in our Exceeding Rated centre in Byford. 

My ideal candidate would be an ECT who is an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated leader with a strong background in the delivery of children programs, sound business management practice and most of all, has a passion for working with children, families and community to support our friendly team.

Little People's Place is a friendly but successful family owned business with 12 childcare centers across Perth. The owners Vijay and Phyllis are directly involved in the everyday running of the business and understand the importance of rewarding hard work and supporting the staff , which will inevitably ensure that level of care flows down to the children and parents.

Little People's place believes that just like our children, you never stop learning and to that end have grants and career pathways available if you wish to take your education or career to the next level. We are looking for long term members of our team rather than just filling positions. 

The ECT role is Full Time (38 Hrs/week) however Part Time may be considered for the right candidate. 

The qualifications and skills you require to be successful in this role are:

• Bachelors in Early Years Education
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF/NQS
• Experience in a similar role
• Current First Aide Requirement

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
• Engage and supervise the children at all times
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Little Peoples Place policies and procedures
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
