The business is entering an exciting phase of growth and change and is seeking a driven and passionate experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Director to join the team.


What this role involves

The position provides the opportunity for the successful applicant to be a key member of the Executive team and have substantial influence on the operations of the business. The following performance measures are expected for this role:


  • The Senior Project Manager/Project Director is accountable for leading the project beyond the clients expectations, whilst managing and delegating tasks to a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
  • The successful candidate directly to Planix Director and play a key role on proactively implementing the company’s vision and strategies.
  • The candidate will be the main point of engagement with key stakeholders to report on the project’s progress, risks and opportunities.
  • Management of key consultants and contractors ensuring a “one team” approach and quality of outcome.
  • Tracking and monitoring of business and projects performance against short term and long term milestones.
  • A proactive role in Business Development including responding to tenders and proposals.


Skills and experience Planix Projects expects from you

  • Degree qualification in related disciplines such as Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in delivering government projects including Health or Education.
  • Ability to undertake Business Development to create, build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to build strong, positive, professional relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Highly organised with a key attention to details.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
