ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is at the centre of the National Energy Market, facilitating the trade between Australia’s three largest states along the east coast. Our client operates and manages the high voltage transmission network connecting generators, distributors, and major end users.

Our client is seeking an experienced Process Analyst to join the team for an initial 6 months with the possibility to extend. This position will be based in Ultimo, Sydney.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the business, the transformation team and IT to lead the definition, development, documentation, and delivery of end-to-end process documentation to support the changes to the operating model.
  • Identify, escalate, and drive the resolution of process inefficiencies, issues, and risks.
  • Establish process metrics, data, and reporting to ensure key processes are documented, analysed, and tracked to improve business performance.
  • Deliver advice and consultancy to the business in relation to business process management and transformation of business processes.
  • Lead the assessment of potential change impacts to the business processes arising from operational model changes
  • Ensure alignment of all process deliverables to the process reference architecture
  • Examine a business process through business process mapping
  • Effectively identify process improvement opportunities; creatively develop approaches for business problem solving
  • Critically evaluate the trade-offs between business value drivers and costs.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Demonstrated high level of working knowledge and experience with business process management methodologies and architecture.
  • Expert experience in business process improvement and design using BPMN notation.
  • Experience working with process toolsets, such as ARIS or similar.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information between various areas of functional expertise.
  • Ability to influence and coach business stakeholders to drive process ownership and understanding.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop effective architectural solutions.
  • Significant business process effectiveness/development experience.
