The Role

As the HR Systems Transformation Lead you'll be responsible for optimising and maintaining Melbourne Water's existing HR systems and working with our IT department and business to implement new systems, as determined by the P&C technology roadmap.

You will have one direct report who will work across both HR systems and people reporting and data, within a small but dedicated team of four within the People and Capability team.

Melbourne Water's existing core HR Systems which include Chris21, Cornerstone, PageUp and Kronos. We also have some relatively new systems such as Org Manager and Service NowHR. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we are getting the best out of these systems and making the end user experience the best it can be. Some exciting new implementations are also on the horizon, which you will play a key role in leading, so there is plenty to keep you challenged and busy in this fast paced environment.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience project managing the implementation of HR systems, either as a HRIS Lead or Senior HR Systems Specialist
  • Previous experience maintaining, optimising and upgrading existing HR systems
  • Subject Matter Expertise in one (preferably two) or more of the following HR systems; Cornerstone, Chris21, PageUp, Kronos or ServiceNow HR
  • Strong Project Management experience, with a focus on driving others to meet deadlines, project governance and documentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
