About the Team and the Role
The Referral Management team are primarily responsible for processing referrals, scheduling appointments and responding to consumer enquiries by both patients and referrers.
In this clerical role your primary responsibilities will include:
- Provide patients and visitors with assistance over the phone as first point of contact;
- Effective communication with patients, families and providers;
- Process referrals, schedule appointments as well as complete other tasks to support the daily operations of the referral management service; and
- Complete and ensure accurate data entry.

Selection Criteria Customer Service Experience
Strong knowledge of iPM, SMT, eReferral or equivalent PAS.
Highly competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
Strong and accurate communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
