SGS Natural resources is seeking a dynamic, organised and proactive Sales & Bid Coordinator to join their sales and bid team. This role will report into the SGS National Bid & Sales Support Manager and will proactively coordinate, project manage and deliver bid and sales activities, in addition to supporting sales growth through sales activity tracking and reporting.

Job Description


  • Actively project manages bid activity and coordinates stakeholders and subject matter experts appropriately
  • Writes and edits bid proposals and other related material
  • Supports preparation, review and finalising of bids and sales presentations, working with the Marketing team
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across SGS' global business in support of bid and sales activities and continuous improvement
  • Supports bid and sales activity tracking and reporting
  • Assists with development and improvement of tools and templates
  • Standardises quotations, including processes and templates
  • Maintains SharePoint Bid Library with up-to-date bid materials
  • Uses CRM to support sales intel and strategies
  • Maintenance of SGS' opportunity management systems
  • Develops business-wide knowledge of Natural Resources' value proposition through its products and services
  • Tertiary education in science/engineering desirable
  • Experience in bid coordination, bid writing and sales support roles
  • High degree of organising and planning ability
  • Ability to influence and work with multiple and diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High degree of presentation skills
  • Advanced MS Word experience
  • Good experience with Sharepoint, MS Excel, MS Visio and Adobe Pro
  • CRM experience will be advantageous
  • Experience in the minerals/coal industry would be advantageous
