About This Role:

As part of its continued success and growth, Forrester is looking for a new-business development representative to fuel further expansion in the region. This critical role is part of new-business sales team and reports to the business development director. The Business Development Representative works with account executives to identify opportunities within named prospects and works within a tightly defined sales process to ensure a consistent and unified approach to selling Forrester services. This is a high-volume activity environment that requires strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, creativity, and a desire to work as part of a team. This candidate must be a self-motivator and have a track record of overachievement.


  • Partner with account executives by identifying new opportunities within their territory and setting up meetings with C-level prospects.
  • Achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual meeting and opportunity targets.
  • Leverage all channels available (phone, email, social, etc.) to engage with prospects and outline Forrester’s unique value proposition.
  • Research key accounts and prospects to understand their goals, objectives, and organizational structures and strategically leverage this insight to engage with prospects and nurture relationships.
  • Partner with the marketing team to drive engagement with key events and convert inbound leads into opportunities.
  • Understand the changing business and technology issues facing our client and prospect base.
  • Ensure all CRM task records are up to date at any given time.
  • BS or BA or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships remotely via email and over the phone.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
