Our Role
As Head of Credit Risk, you are responsible for overseeing Newcastle Permanent’s credit and lending policy and strategy framework. This means you are accountable for our lending policies and must ensure they are aligned to the strategic plan while meeting regulatory and credit rating requirements.
You will be a passionate people person, motivating and managing a team of Credit Risk professionals as well as working collaboratively with business units in supporting the effective implementation of our credit risk policies.
About you
You will be highly experienced in credit risk management, ideally having a specialisation in consumer lending.
You will have strong leadership skills, having experience motivating your team while developing their skills and capability.
You are someone that can build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders; you are comfortable taking feedback and will partner will the business in reviewing our credit risk policies.
