JOB DESCRIPTION

How will I help?

As the Commissions Administrator you will be responsible for managing the accurate & timely processing of commissions for Westpac group Aggregators and Referrers for mortgages and other products. You will be required to attend to commission enquiries and liaising with Stakeholders across the business in addition to acting as a point of contact & resolution for brokers querying commission payments, process, or policy. You will also be coordinating and scheduling the monthly commission payments, producing reports and undertaking analyses of the loan book performance.

Additionally, you will participate in project work and other initiatives as “Subject Matter Expert “commissions, including contributing to the relevant change management activities and decision-making analyses as required whilst promoting and maintaining strong financial control and control consciousness.

What do I need?

We’d expect you to have 1-2 years’ experience in transactions processing, finance, financial customer service or a similar role. Experience in Financial Services Industry or in a commission related role in a different industry will be highly regarded. You have ability to interpret and apply policy and process documents with excellent time management & ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will also bring intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word with strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to take ownership to see an issue/outcome through to completion.

Building strong relationships comes second nature to you; your excellent communication skills mean you thrive working in parallel with cross-functional teams.
