JOB DESCRIPTION

We a looking for an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focussed General Service Officer join the team at the Retirement Living Village at Annesley in Bowral. This role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis.

As a General Service Officer, your main objectives are to carry out common area cleaning, function room set – up and pull down as well as provide assistance to our Maintenance Supervisor as required. You will be required to contribute to a high standard of service for residents and visitors and deliver exceptional customer service at the village.

To be successful it is desirable to have;

  • Previous cleaning experience such as, in a hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of setting up and pulling down function rooms.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to
work unsupervised.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
You will be working in a small, close-knit team, reporting to the Village Manager. Our ideal employee will have excellent customer service delivery, good communication skills, sound computer literacy and a genuine interest in learning. This is an opportunity to work in independent Retirement Living in a hospitality style environment.
