Local Background
Griffith Base Hospital is a 114-bed level four regional referral hospital with in excess of 19,500 emergency presentations, 2,500 surgeries and 600 births each year. Building has commenced for the $250 million hospital redevelopment.

The hospital provides a range of acute specialist services (resident and visiting) including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatric Medicine, Oncology, Haematology, Obstetrics, Intensive Care, Respiratory Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Renal Dialysis and Rheumatology.

  1. Qualified medical practitioner registered in Australia with at least two years post-graduate experience and appropriate training and experience.
