Hays are currently seeking an experience Risk and Compliance professional for a 4 – 8 week temporary assignment to set-up a risk and compliance framework the organisation can use moving forward. This position is based in Bendigo.

Your new role
Working closely with the HR manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and manage the compliance and risk management program
• Develop, maintain and test the compliance register and the risk management plans
• Facilitate document control through review, development and maintenance of policies, procedures, tools, plans and checklists
• Set a review registry to outline future policies and procedures reviews to ensure compliance / Monitor compliance of workplace policies
• OHS – Set the process to Investigate and report on incidents, recommending corrective action and preventative action

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• You will have demonstrated ability in Risk and Compliance or HR or Project Management or in a similar position
• You will ideally have experience working in an education environment
• You will have advance Microsoft Excel skills as well as advanced data-input skills and Google Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Require two references
