About us

Weekaway runs Outdoor Education camps for school children in an amazing bush setting. We also cater for all types of groups including schools, churches, conferences, families, clubs and management training.

We have been operating in the industry for many years with a great reputation for what we do, and we are focused on delivering quality programs to our clients well into the future. Weekaway deliver programs designed to encourage teamwork and problem solving while challenging our guests to try new experiences. Skills & experience

Applicants will need:

  • Full Working With Children check
  • Drivers License
  • Safe Food Handling (Supervisor)

Minimum 3 years previous experience working in a similar environment is essential. Experience in hospitality/accommodation management, business operations and a history of running a team is required.

About the Role

Your day to day duties will include liaising with schools, guests and transport companies, troubleshooting any issues with activities programs and general site maintenance. You will manage a team to ensure accommodation, meals and scheduled activities are provided in line with our policies and client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for rostering; employee allocation and training, as well as all associated management admin tasks. Working autonomously, we expect you to have excellent attention to detail and show initiative in implementing and improving processes as needed.

An example of your responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

• Management and training of all staff;

• Liaise with Booking Clients to manage programs, staff and handle/resolve minor complaints;

• Liaise between departments to ensure best outcomes for our customers;

• Monitor staff to ensure compliance with health and safety policy and training procedures;

• Assist with minor and major incidents;

• Ensure smooth running of day to day business

• Manage and program arrival/ departure days

Benefits

Accommodation available, salary packaged including utilities. Remuneration $60-$64,999 (depending on applicant experience) as well as Accommodation and utilities supplied $30,000 P/A

Total package $90-94,999.
