    The Role

    In this role you will work with the Creative Director and the Marketing team to execute marketing material and graphic design projects. This full-time role will see you putting your graphic design skills to practice, whilst managing the Design team in the day to activities, by coaching, mentoring and guiding the team to ensure market position and brand integrity is maintained.

    The key responsibilities of the role include:

    • Creating artwork and working on the design projects for the Beacon Lighting Group, ensuring brand position and style guidelines are met.
    • Leading the Design team by understand briefs, providing advice and clarification where required, coaching and developing the team to
    • Checking final artwork to ensure accuracy of information, spelling pricing and details
    • Working with the Creative Director on special projects, by taking direction and ensuring integrity of proofs are maintained
    • Improving and optimizing briefs and working on concepts / ideas for new briefs
    • Ensuring projects are completed within specified deadlines
    • Investigate and implement more efficient systems and processes for the design team

    About You

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • A Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design or Finished Art
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred
    • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills, particularly in Design, Photoshop, Illustrator
    • Previous experience leading a small team of Designers
    • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
    • Effective ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
    • Proven ability to take on constructive feedback
