The role:

Reporting into the Head of Digital Product your role will sit across all our platforms and channels, including online, in-store, payments, content, logistics, growth and more. In this role you will work closely with all our internal divisions including UX, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science and R&D teams to:

  • Leverage data to evaluate new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with UX to develop hypotheses and analyse A/B experiments for new product experience.
  • Work closely with internal engineers as well as best-in-class 3rd party providers to define tracking and data pipelines.
  • Advise on performance metrics to guide the long term product strategy.
  • You will deep dive into user and customer behavior within our product ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to directly improve our data culture and shape the cross-functional product lifecycle strategy with your insights.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Analyst to leverage our data in developing new product features and suites. This is part of a newly-created, fast-moving, agile team at Winning Group that will work closely with all our internal stakeholders to create world class eCommerce experiences across a vast and varied product portfolio.

What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like

The responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of the core Product Team, proactively providing deep insights into user behaviors, segmentation and habits to guide long-term product strategy.
  • Partner directly with the Heads of Product and UX to define hypotheses and success metrics for various project/feature launches.
  • Lead experimentation by providing guidance on hypothesis generation, opportunity sizing, implementation as well as evaluating the impact of experiments on our key metrics.
  • Present insights and recommendations to cross-functional leads and executives.
  • Proactively monitor the health of the business, including engagement and retention metrics, and regularly communicate updates to the cross-functional team.
  • Contribute to data quality efforts by designing analytics instrumentation for new features, conducting user acceptance testing for feature usage tracking, and maintaining schema documentation.

Key Skills & Experience

  • High proficiency in SQL and comfortable navigating data to perform a wide range of analyses.
  • Had exposure to visualisation tools like Power BI/ Tableau, Looker, Data Studio.
  • Ability to create and retrieve data from marketing API endpoints like Google Analytics, Adwords, Crazy Egg, Hot Jar, Snowplow etc.
  • Exposure to Google Big Query's.
  • Experience with Python or R beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strategic & analytical mindset; top-notch strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, excellent business intuition.
  • Understand statistical testing: power analysis, sequential testing, continuous testing.
  • Can clearly articulate ideas, frame problems, and offer solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, at both executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques like segmentation, clustering, and regression models
