JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) department is a leader in design and development of special purpose equipment and machinery. We combine a passion for solving complex engineering challenges with unmatched expertise in supporting the manufacture of a wide and diverse industry base with our purpose-built machines. We are passionate as we strive for success within our experienced and highly skilled team.

We are currently offering multiple opportunities for highly-motivated individuals to join our team as Technical Project Managers and Outsource Managers, in our BAMS group. These roles are full-time for 6 months (with potential to extend, subject to project requirements) and are based at our brand new BAMS headquarters in Clayton. Due to the nature of the projects, some local, regional and interstate travel may be required.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Manage automation, consulting, and engineering service projects
  • Monitor and report status of managed projects and implement corrective actions to achieve targets
  • Supplier engagement and management
  • Project risk management including identification, monitoring, and mitigation
  • Maintain quality and document recording systems
  • Support project acquisitions with internal and external customers
  • Oversee project team including deliverables, commercial time frames, coordination of team and tasks, and collaboration with other project groups and teams

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced technically-minded Project Manager with the ability to work across multiple teams, manage diverse and sometimes complex tasks and priorities, establish effective relationships, and coach and inspire your project team.

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Sound experience in project management of technical engineering projects
  • Experience with special purpose machinery and setup of manufacturing sites is highly regarded
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) in manufacturing
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, risk and time management
  • A relevant Engineering degree or solid years of working experience in a suitable industry
  • PRINCE2 / PMP accreditation is desirable
  • A natural leader with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP experience would be advantageous
