What You Will Be Doing
The Covid Safety Spotter observes staff, contractors and students donning and doffing PPE as well as providing education, guidance and support in the correct procedures. You will educate new staff in appropriate PPE, answer staff questions on PPE requirements and stay up to date on equipment levels and locations.
This role is a limited term contract until 28th December 2021 working a 7 day rotating roster. There are part time and full time opportunities available to suit your lifestyle.
The COVID Safety Spotter is required to work at sites across the entire Peninsula Health catchment zone including Rosebud, Mornington and Frankston. Please note you will be required to work across all locations, you cannot nominate to work only at a particular site.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:• Experience in a clinical hospital setting (Enrolled Nurse, Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional, Medical Professional or minimum 2nd year student in one of these disciplines)
• Ability to understand and apply policies, procedures and protocols at the highest level
• An understanding of infection control principles and current PPE requirements
• Ability to support and train staff in a demanding clinical environment
