The Role
The Workplace Service Manager is responsible for enhancing our employee and end-user experience by managing the facilities service support team and functions.
Reporting to the Group Asset Manager you will play a vital role in all aspects of the ongoing operational success of our Leederville Headquarters. This role will be well suited to a highly versatile leader from a facilities management, construction or real estate background.
Availability to work on weekends and evenings is essential.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of compliance, risk and sustainability targets and KPI’s
- Provide general overall facilities management services for the building
- Create and assign work orders to contractors and vendors
- Implement service contracts at the building/s in accordance with the scope and service level
- Ensure the implementation of scheduled routine tasks and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensure statutory maintenance and compliance categories are utilised effectively;
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiencies on maintenance and operational issues
- Ensure that facilities matters are communicated at all times
- Support planning and implementation for new and changing business requirements.
- Ensure that all payments for goods and services are processed, allocated and budgeted accurately
- Ensure that all property and facilities related suppliers represent value for money and that costs are always competitively and fully accountable and reporting on cost saving outcomes.
- Management of security for building and employees
- Be the key point of contact; managing the relationship with the Property and Facilities Management Team.
- Stock and inventory management
You:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- 5-years’ experience in a senior role within facilities management, construction or real estate (commercial, industrial, retail or residential)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire, motivate and foster a high performance, positive team culture
- Ability to build relationships with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Passion for home building and interiors
- Customer-centric mindset
- Good organisational skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or a related discipline (highly regarded)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire, motivate and foster a high performance, positive team culture
