About the Role

This is a 12 month full time contract role with the intention to progress suitable candidates to further roles beyond this period.

Based in our new national Head Office in Adelaide, this role provides project, analysis and reporting support to the Strategy and Planning function and wider business. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will provide you with an excellent opportunity to kick start your corporate career, enable you to make a real difference and gain hands on experience across a range of business improvement initiatives.

As a key member of the Strategy and Planning team, you will demonstrate behaviours aligned with MMAL’s values and be committed to working cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders.

In this dynamic, varied and highly project focused role, two days are rarely the same but comprise of key responsibilities that include:

  • Collecting, preparing and effectively analysing information, data and processes to assist in identifying improvement opportunities
  • Providing project support across a diverse range of improvement and change initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to generate accurate performance reports to track success
  • Developing high quality documentation to record, report and present data, insights and solutions
  • Continually seeking to streamline and optimise processes

What you’ll need to Join Our Team

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Commerce, Engineering or similar
  • Highly developed problem solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A “get stuff done” attitude and continuous improvement mindset
  • A communicative and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders
  • Sound skills in Excel (including macros, pivot tables, data extraction, v lookup and report design) preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
