The Role
This is a casual ongoing role that requires a confident and enthusiastic Machine Operator with a Forklift License who is willing to learn. In particular, we are looking for someone with manual handling skills, experience with working to load and unload awkward freight and the right attitude to join a great team. The pay rate for this role with be $27.40 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine operations, using various machines (steel sheets/products)
- Forklift duties – loading and unloading oversized and odd shaped freight
- Manual lifting and sortation of freight
- General Warehouse Duties
Skills & Experience
- Must have previous experience as a Machine Operator
- A minimum of 12 months experience with a forklift (must hold a valid LF licence)
- Be willing and able to complete manual handling tasks as required
- Be able to work and commit to a casual ongoing position
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment and have a high level of accuracy
- Be able to start immediately
