JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a distributor of technology products, consumer electronics, computing and communications devices is looking for a Junior Business Support and Logistics Officer to join their team based in Western Sydney. As the Logistics Support officer, you will:
- Provide great Customer Service to internal and external clients
- Be responsible for coordinating and monitoring shipments
- Coordinate with export customers and transport providers
- Process purchase orders and customer invoices
- Develop strong working relationships with internal supply planners and sales management
- Ensure accurate and efficient management of container availability, bookings, export orders, freight and despatch documentation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations with regards to deadlines and delays
To be considered you will have:
- 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, customer service or administration or be a recent graduate of Business or similar tertiary studies
- Strong organisational skills with a high aptitude for detail
- Great communications skills (written and verbal)
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite with exposure to an ERP system highly regarded (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Be able to work well within a team and also autonomously after training period
