About the role:

  • Forecasting and budgeting monthly & quarterly cost position for all business costs
  • Preparation of documentation for expense accruals and submission of month end journal entries to global controlling (based in Amsterdam) for review.
  • Reconciliation review and preparing adjustment entries for financial accounts and inter-company transactions
  • Conducting financial investigations and analysis on overspend or underspend in accrued line items and subsequent advisory to budget managers on business operational costs.
  • Preparing monthly P/L reports and providing variance analysis on forecasted position for business cost line items
  • Coordinating purchase order creation and spend approvals ensuring compliance and correct allocations of cost centres and general ledger codes.
  • Own the upkeep of the Purchase Order database and ensure all Purchase Orders are current and valid
  • Work with Shared Services to resolve invoice-related queries and investigations


  • Must have detailed SAP Ariba experience and knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, preferably including experience consolidating marketing expenses within a global e-commerce platform environment, including global suppliers
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (working with large volume of data) and Outlook is needed
  • Ideally involvement in mergers and acquisitions, specifically with tracking integration costs
  • Ideally experience using Norstrum
  • Accounting/Finance degree or Diploma
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Organised approach to work with flexibility to change at short notice
  • A great teammate with the ability to work alongside others and share findings

Remuneration :

A competitive salary range between $64,000 - $74000 + Super per year will be offered based on skills, qualifications and experience.
