About the role

OpusXenta is undergoing an exciting period of growth. Due to our senior accountant taking maternity leave, we are seeking a fully qualified and experienced senior bookkeeper to take full responsibility for regional day to day bookkeeping operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with extensive bookkeeping experience and who value working in a fast paced and progressive environment. This part-time role offers flexibility and remote working.

Your will be responsible for

  • Daily management and processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, asset management, invoicing, purchasing, general ledger, reconciliations, reporting and other functions as required from time to time
  • Payroll processing and management
  • Sales and corporate tax preparation and returns
  • Involvement with monthly financial reporting
  • Liaison with external Company Accountants for statutory and accounting requirements
  • Management of regional tax authority requirements

About you

To be considered for this role, you will have the following essential experience/skills:

  • Qualification in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Understanding of group accounting principles
  • Foreign currency transaction processing
  • You would have a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping and financial accounting experience within a medium business (SME). (Nice to have - experience in a global company).
  • Proficient in Microsoft productivity tools (Office365, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong technical skills and advanced knowledge of working with an ERP system (Sage 300).
  • You have excellent people skills and enjoy being part of a global, friendly team.
  • You are self-motivated and you use your initiative
