Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy for a Reception /Office Administration All-Rounder to work in our office at Newtown.

This is an ongoing casual position starting ASAP. You will report directly to the Office Manager. Hours of work are 8:24am to 4:30pm. You may be required to attend networking functions and answer phone calls outside of these hours.

The successful applicant will have experience in an office administrative role and be confident with Outlook, Word, Excel Spreadsheets and Data Entry. A minimum of 50WPM and high attention to detail is also required.

You must be well-presented, polite and confident as you are the first point of contact for Recruitment 24/7 clients and candidates. A pleasant and helpful phone manner is essential, and you will be required to promote Recruitment 24/7 services to potential clients on a daily basis.

You will be successful in this role if you possess a strong work ethic and exceptional time management skills; you will be required to multi-task in a busy environment, and you must have the ability to effectively manage your workload in a professional manner.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Front Office Reception - Answering phone calls and handling queries from jobseekers
  • Booking / Conducting interviews and maintaining group calendar
  • Reviewing and sorting Candidate applications
  • Writing, proofing and posting job advertisements
  • Taking Meeting Minutes
  • Writing reports, executive summaries and newsletters
  • Maintenance of our internal recruitment data base with accuracy
  • Preparing Registration Packages and paperwork for Inductions and Information Sessions
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems
  • Stationery and Staff amenities purchases
  • Providing administrative support to the general manager as required
  • General administration duties

Training specific to the role will be provided to the successful applicant, however you must be motivated to work, keen to learn and able to show initiative.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
