Role Overview:

The Digital Experience & E-Commerce Manager is responsible for planning and executing a focused E-Commerce and Digital Marketing plan that engages customers and delivers a key growth revenue stream for Medela Australia. 

Digital initiatives are related but not limited to Medela Australia's websites, mobile App, social platforms and all other digital channels, whilst also supporting retail market customers to maximise Medela's digital footprint on their websites.

The Digital Experience & E-Commerce Manager will work closely with all members of the Marketing team, as well as cross-functionally within Medela Australia and internationally to drive outstanding internal and external digital strategies. This role will also be responsible for developing tracking and reporting frameworks with relevant metrics/KPIs for their area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the full digital strategy for Medela Australia in collaboration with the Australian Marketing Team and Medela AG digital and marketing resources, and to execute the plan with purpose and intensity.
  • Drive all acquisition and retention strategies with the responsibility of the growth of E-commerce sales through advertising campaigns, pricing strategy, web offers, social media, email.
  • Optimise advertising campaigns on the Google network, Facebook and drive the creation of advertising assets with the Medela Australia digital and PR agency partners.
  • Set-up and involvement in 1P & 3P key e-tail accounts to ensure Medela’s digital presence on their digital platforms is consistent with brand guidelines and positioned to maximise our presence and revenue via those retailers.
  • Monitor and analyse traffic and sales data on Google Analytics in order to recommend and implement the most effective initiatives to drive more sales.
  • Frequent reports in order to provide data to management about E-commerce figures and promotional offers results.
  • Responsibility to manage nominated projects to improve the functionalities of the website in order to enhance customer experience.
  • Accountability for the Australia and New Zealand websites content: text, product set up, prices, handling data through the required platforms.
  • Develop and manage Medela's product review generation strategy.
  • Drive the optimisation of Medela's digital shelf management across retail partners.
  • Support the direct to consumer aspect of product launches across digital platforms including social media, apps, websites, E-commerce, ad campaigns, etc.

About You:

  • Degree level education in e-commerce, business, web marketing or a related field is required.
  • Experience in retail sales and marketing with a focus to digital marketing preferred.
  • Background in B2C e-commerce and digital marketing environment.
  • Previous successful experience in paid search and social media.
  • Strong analytical skills in practice (experience of Google Analytics).
  • Accountable for the tracking and reporting of marketing activity ensuring that spend against budget is on track and closely monitored.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail attributes.
