Woolworths Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Employment Relations team based in Brisbane. You will join a close knit Workplace Relations team who foster a culture of collaboration and service excellence. We are enabled by effective and efficient people processes and technology to support the management of our ER matters.

The Employee Relations Business Analyst (ERBA) will be an expert on employee relations data and will focus on delivering accurate, insightful and fit-for-purpose data analysis and reporting to the ER Team and for key stakeholders, under the direction of the Head of Employee Relations and ER Managers.

The opportunity:

  • Supporting the Head of ER and ER Managers to deeply understand the reporting and data needs of the ER team and the business units that the team supports
  • Creating bespoke reports and data presentations that address the needs of key stakeholders, providing useful, accurate information and insights
  • Maintaining accountability for regular reporting requirements such as monthly and quarterly reports to business units, People Exco and the Board of Directors.
  • Partnering with ER Managers and Service Leaders to champion the accurate and detailed recording of input data, actively seek out opportunities to improve the quality of our data.
  • Supporting the Head of ER & ER Managers on continuous improvement of Salesforce data entry

Who we’re looking for:

  • You will quickly gain an understanding of the Employee Relations team, processes, and terminology that will enable the ERBA to connect data with insights and unlock a deeper understanding of trends, opportunities and issues raised in the data.
  • You are well versed in Salesforce, including its reporting functions and the taxonomy of matter types and triaging built into Salesforce.
  • You will bring the ability to partner & collaborate with the Salesforce team and ER Managers on process and software improvement ideas for Salesforce.
  • You’ll use curiosity and initiative to extract raw data and develop it into visual, digestible reports while proving insights that can be understood and acted upon by business stakeholders of all levels.
  • You have exceptional Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel capability, including data analysis and visuals. Knowledge of Tableau data visualisation software is desirable but not essential.
