We currently have a great new opportunity to join the Buying & Merchandising team to leading the Supplier Communications agenda.
 
About the Role
 

As the Supplier Communications Manager you will develop and lead the Supplier Communications Strategy for Endeavour’s Buying and Merchandising team. Drawing on your previous experiences and consultative approach to engaging stakeholders, you will plan, drive and deliver the Supplier Communications Strategy and supporting campaigns.
 
Utilising a variety of engagement techniques and channels you will increase supplier engagement with the Buying team through timely implementation of key messages, training and updates for our Suppliers, and will develop a regular schedule with the relevant checks and balances to provide a consistent and informative communication program for our Supply Partners.
 
Additional responsibilities will include: 
 

  • Define the Communication Objectives and agree measures of success and determine a suite of communication measures to drive meaningful engagement with internal Stakeholders and our Partners.
  • Align the strategy with the strategic goals of the Merchandise Team to develop our Supplier Partnerships, maintain and action the Supplier Communication strategy calendar 
  • Prepare a wide range of innovative training, communications and media collateral for diverse audiences. 
  • Identify relevant opportunities to drive awareness of the Endeavour Merchandise team and their relationships with Suppliers in Social Media and relevant industry publications. 
  • Work closely with the relevant team members to oversee and implement a variety of events such as Supplier Forum and Supplier of The Year .

About You 

You are experienced in gaining insights from market data and other sources to identify actionable communication messages to drive engagement, and have a proven track record of working to deadlines whilst building strong and sustainable relationships. You have a problem solving mindset and are proactively looking for ways to improve processes and the impact of communication and have the ability to work end-to-end across the team to address concerns/issues as they arise.

As the Supplier Communications Manager you will be an advocate for improving relationships between Endeavour Merchandise and Suppliers to deliver better outcomes for our customers, and therefore will have the ability to pivot your approach and message as required to suit the needs of the business.

Additional responsibilities and desirable capabilities include: 

  • A degree qualification in public relations, journalism or communications 
  • Extensive experience in marketing, communications, media, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing social marketing campaigns (awareness/ behaviour)
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering, communicating and evaluating Supplier engagement campaigns 
  • Proven ability to lead and effectively manage the performance, output and development of communication and engagement strategies
  • Well developed influencing and negotiating skills and a proven track record in building and managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executives
