What you'll be doing
The Office Manager provides an interface between the academic discipline and clinical services of The Sydney University Department of Psychiatry and provides support to the NSRMHS Community Health 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  • Substantial experience in the provision of Office Management and/or Senior Administrative Position with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely and accurate documents including submissions for grants including an understanding of academic papers and the ability to edit and manage online publications.
  • Proven ability to work both as a member of a team and autonomously with evidence of continued development.
  • Proven highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word (70 wpm) and Dictaphone transcribing. MAC and Wrike capabilities desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a functional website; and experience in the formatting of documents for Intranet and Internet.
  • Proven ability to anticipate, initiate and develop quality administrative procedures to improve work practices and monitor expenditure against budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in client referral and enquiries management and the maintenance of records. Demonstrated understanding of the concepts and requirements of confidentiality and privacy related to Health issues and current NSW Drivers License.
