About The Role 


Grade 2 Social Worker is an on-going, full time role.Social work in mental health has a strong focus on the social context and social consequences of mental illness.Its purpose is to promote recovery,restore and maximise individual,family and community well- being, to enhance development of each individual`s power and control over their lives, and to advance principles of social justice,which are fundamental to social work practice.


Intervention will occur at the interface between the individual and the environment and extend to the contexts of family,social networks,community, and the broader society.

You are a suitably qualified social worker with excellent working knowledge of mental health and psycho-social care.You are driven, optimistic and a highly passionate clinician who is ready to care with emphasis on accountability.You are committed to deliver outstanding outcomes for our patients.You You enjoy mental health social work because you are passionate about therapeutically using yourself to support your patient`s unique journey to a life inspired by hope and potential.

What You Need



  • You have an approved degree in Social Work

  • Have 2 years experience as a social worker

  • You are eligable for AASW membership

  • Valid Victorian Drivers Licence

  • Experience and knowledge in Mental Health Care

  • Australian working rights
