'Personal Assistant – Medical Imaging'



  • A high level secretarial position at The Royal Melbourne Hospital

  • Work within one of the largest Imaging Services in Victoria

  • Full Time Ongoing opportunity, working 80 hours per fortnight including monthly ADOs!

Your new team



The department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of the largest imaging services in Victoria, providing an essential clinical service to RMH inpatients and outpatients as well as private patients from across the state.



  • The department employs over 300 staff across a range of clinical and non-clinical disciplines

  • The department undertakes over 200,000 imaging studies each year across a range of modalities including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.


Your success in this role, will be in your ability to



  • Demonstrate the following characteristics: initiative, proactive, highly developed problem solving skills, ability to priorities work and meet deadlines.

  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, written and organisation skills

  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement, change management, customer focus, education, training and research.

  • Ability to contribute effectively as a participative team member within a multidisciplinary team environment.


Your Contribution



  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Previous experience working within Medical Imaging and with electronic medical records (desirable)
