Your new company
An incredible opportunity has become available to join a leading independent school as a valuable member of staff working within their After School Care service. As OOSH Educator your role will be to support and collaborate with the After School Care Coordinator, caring for 20 primary aged children from 2pm – 6pm on school grounds, as well as during school holidays for their Vacation Care.

You will have access to a large multi-purpose room with ample resources and a kitchenette, as well as the school’s playground, library and even your own vegetable patch. If you have experience as a Primary or Early Years Teacher or within the OOSH sector this could be an incredible opportunity to work within a highly regarded independent school. This impressive school caters for 900 children from K – Year 12, however the afterschool service caters for the Primary Age Group. The school is a short walk from public transport links, offers parking and is a beautiful back drop for this small and homely after school service. The successful candidate will have passion for and experience working with children, they will be able to work 2.00pm – 6.00pm Monday to Friday during term time, and 8.00am – 5.00pm during non-term time for vacation care.

Your new role
As After School Care Educator you will be onsite and ready to run the after school program from 2.00pm – 6.00pm with the experienced OOSH Coordinator. Your role will be to take part in engaging and fun activities with children including art, cooking and sports! The successful candidate will want to fully immerse themselves within the school community and build great relationships with staff, students and families.

Your role will be to encourage high quality supervision and fun, engaging and age appropriate activities in the service incorporating My Time, Our Place. This is a warm and welcoming school with lovely children, you will report directly to the OOSH Coordinator and Head of Primary.

You will also have the opportunity to work 8.00am – 5.00pm throughout 9 weeks of the year within the schools vacation care!
