Your new company
This exciting opportunity is with local government agency responsible for administering community projects for their local district. This agency prides itself on excellent community services and facilities and provide the best possible conditions for their residents to thrive.

Your new role
You will be the main point of contact to assist with tender evaluation plans, sitting on evaluation committees, writing all the various reports, including the recommendation reports to management. You will be the chief adviser for the agency on the entire tender process. Provide expert advice on the conditions normally required for the tender or services which it has been agreed to be provided under the Contract. Remain fully responsible for all work undertaken and service provided regardless of any review or acceptance of that work by the contractor. Prepare and discuss with the stakeholders the process of tender submission. Attend the tender briefing when required and raise requests for further clarification or additional information required to complete the tender submission. Promptly inform the contractor in writing if information or any document provided are found to be insufficient or inaccurate. Observe and comply with all requirements of all relevant Acts, and with the requirements of all regulations. Review the final tender submission and provide feedback.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience working in a local government procurement function. You will have strong knowledge and experience of the entire tendering process. You will be able to manage stakeholders both internal and external and ensure the tendering process is completed efficiently and effectively.
