My client has over 30 years of experience delivering tailored information technology, infrastructure and services to schools and organisations across Australia. From PC installation through to end-to-end IT solutions, they deliver solutions that are unique to an individual organisation’s needs. 

The ideal candidate will work closely with the CSO to help drive the company sales strategy. The successful candidate will have demonstrated abilities to empower and encourage a passionate sales team to sell into new markets, negotiate complex deals and beat the competition in head to head opportunities.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Manage a team of sales
  • Consult, develop and manage relationships in executive level
  • Lead customer satisfaction and account development efforts by proactively identifying (internal) opportunities with existing clients
  • Provide detailed reports to management (forecast pipeline, acct plans
  • Developing existing customer base within the assigned territory to position and grow IT consulting services, find new opportunities and determine the level of satisfaction with the company’s services.
  • Drive new business by prospecting within targeted prospect accounts in the geography, understanding the needs and delivering the value proposition for the company’s competencies and IT services.
  • Responsible for a mapping accounts, ongoing development activity, retention and growth in your territory.
  • Highly motivated to deliver high margin and long term contracted partnerships.
Skills required:
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience (infrastructure, cloud and IT services sales)
  • Ability to negotiate high value, long contracts and retain accounts.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent customer service and business communication (both written & verbal) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Strong time and priority management capabilities
