Due to increase in project requirements within the quality team, our client is now seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to enable testing of products in accordance with the code of Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP).

About the Opportunity: 

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Work within the Microbiology team of the Quality Control group to enable testing of products in accordance with the code of GMP.
  • Support the team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP.
  • Assist in the review, update and issue of Microbiology documentation.
  • Ensure test is conducted in accordance with the approved procedures.
  • Maintain adequate documentation system.
  • Assist in the development, preparation and training of QC staff in approved procedures as required.
  • Assist with investigations of Out of Specifications(OOS)test results, invalid assays or when unusual data is observed as required.
About You:

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience: 

  • A tertiary qualification in scientific discipline and demonstrated laboratory experience.
  • Sound experience in the use of computer systems for data entry and inquiry functions.
  • Experience in general assay preparation and working in the laboratory environment
  • Strong documentation and scientific report writing skills.
  • Sound communication & interpersonal skills. 
  • Committed to following through and finishing off tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical is highly desirable.
