JOB DESCRIPTION

Carat are currently in market for a savvy Director to join the team for a 12 month max term contract.


The role of the Account Director is to manage the day to day senior client relationship and the overall team performance. This role requires an expert level of understanding of the media industry and a comprehensive understanding of their client’s industry and business.


Responsibilities:

  • Be the day to day point of contact for mid to large sized clients responsible. The Account Director is the first escalation point to ensure the smooth running of the account
  • Ensure the quality control of all client, and client agency partnership engagement
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the categories in client portfolio and provide best in class recommendations
  • Assume a primary focus on channel planning including the production of the supporting documentation that details; the OEB ecosystem, channel selection, role of channel, top line phasing, block plan and high level budget bearings
  • Ensures access to the right capability and level of service within the group
  • Is responsible for the connectivity, consistency and timely delivery of the components of the response to brief including; strategy, comms planning and investment and optimization
  • Identification of organic growth opportunities
  • Play a support role in new business as required


Experience Required:

  • 8 years experience in a Media agency
  • Previous experience in managing & leading a team
  • Excellent client service skills, experience in working across Tier 1 accounts
  • Effective time management
