JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a full time Legal Assistant to join our Litigation Dispute Resolution team.


Position summary

This is a busy and demanding role and would ideally be suited to someone with 3 to 5 years' legal administration experience.


The Role

Providing administration support to a team of lawyers, your duties will include:

  • collation, copying and scanning of correspondence and documents including briefs and court documents
  • general accounts and billing processes
  • opening and closing of files
  • telephone contact with clients
  • diary management
  • generally contributing to the smooth running of the team


The Candidate

To be successful you will need:

  • minimum 3 years’ legal administration experience
  • experience working in litigation or commercial areas of law a bonus but not essential
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to meet deadlines and assess the urgency of tasks
  • confidence, flexibility and ability to take a proactive approach to work
  • an enthusiastic, team player who is willing to support others
