About The Role

We are currently seeking a HSE Administrator & Injury Management Coordinator. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 construction and international engineering enterprise.

As a HSE Administrator & Injury Management Coordinator, you will be providing support to the project team and managing the HSE administration and injury management services off site.

Key Responsibilities

  • HSE Administration
  • Ensure HSE Administration procedures are established and maintained in accordance with HSE Project and Hub processes.
  • Monthly Site HSE Statistics to Site HSE Manager.
  • Injury Management
  • Key point of contact between LORA and the Injured person whilst off site.
  • Proactively liaise with the RTW Consultant to ensure optimal injury management outcomes.
  • Participation in regular reviews with the LORAC Workers Compensation team with a focus on high risk claims to ensure strategic claim management.
  • Facilitation of all documentation and other evidence for Injury management when personnel are off site.
  • Assist projects and medical review team with personal health management documentation for manageable health related issues.
  • Liaise with treating medical and allied health professionals for the development of tailored Return to Work management plans for employees with personal health issues to assist them to remain at work
  • Participation in the Medical Provider contract reviews and renewals

You will have
  • 2-5 years HSE administration experience
  • Workers compensation experience
  • General medical terminology knowledge and understanding
  • Cert IV on OHS desirable
  • Demonstrated skills Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge and application ability for all workers compensation and injury management legislation, including the Industrial Disease Commission in WA.
  • Critical thinking, business acumen and planning skills
  • Demonstrated EI
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
